Taskmaster Lives with New Diamond Marvel Select Figure

Even though the Marvel Cinematic Universe film, Black Widow, has been postponed the collectibles are still coming. Taskmaster is back in the spotlight with yet another new figure but this time it's from the Diamond Marvel Select Series. This figure features his (or hers) newly updated costume that is nicely detailed and loaded with accessories. The figure will come with 2 arrows, a bow, sword, shield, and interchangeable hands. One of the pairs of hands looks to be the Black Panther style that we see in the trailer. The figure does seem a little bulky which is nice so you know it won't break so easily. I have said this before and I will keep saying this but I love the look of Taskmaster and his new design. The blue and orange color is a nice change from his original white style look that we see in the comics.

The updated mask brings a more modern look to this classic assassin. The Marvel Select figures usually are standard 7 inches and come in bulky packaging. The added accessories do give Taskmaster a nice set of extras that will allow a nice variety of poses. They do need to expand out what he will come will be so far it is all the same design over and over. Once the film does drop we will start to see extra details and different accessories come out. Hell, I would be excited with just a single accessory pack with a whole new armor for him (or her). The Black Widow Taskmaster Diamond Marvel Select figure is set to release this summer.
