Batman: Knightfall was printed between 1993 and 1994 and is one of the most game-changing arcs in DC Comics history. It begins when the villain Bane plans a mass breakout at Arkham Asylum, forcing Batman into relentless battles with Gotham's worst. By the end, he is exhausted both physically and mentally, only to be ambushed in his own Batcave. This leads to the iconic DC Comics moment where Bane famously breaks his back, leaving him paralyzed, marking the first time the hero is truly broken. As this is the Dark Knight, he is forced out to recover and take down the supposed successor, Azrael.

Both blue and black Batman suits were featured in this DC Comics arc, and now the Knightfall or Knight Crusader suit is getting an exclusive MAFEX figure.
