This has been an incredible week for Disney Lorcana fans as Ravensburger dropped some big news throughout the week. Some of these announcements included the arrival of new National and Local Tournaments and a new Gateway Deck Product. One of the more significant announcements was that Ravensburger will be dropping four Disney Lorcana Chapters a year! No titles have been revealed, but we have seen the launch dates for 2024 already. However, we know about Chapter 3 of Into the Inklands, which is set for a late February release at Local Card Shops and an early March 2024 drop at retailers. While we are getting ready for Chapter 3, we are looking back at Chapter 2: Rise of the Floodborn and the current most valuable cards in that set!
We have done this with Chapter 1: The First Chapter and these values fluctuate depending on new strategies and releases. In the past two weeks, this entire list has already shifted, removing Cinderella from the list completely. As of right now, the Disney Lorcana: Rise of the Floodborn Most Valuable Cards consists of the following:
- Beauty and the Beast – Beast – Tragic Hero – $48
- The Lion King – Mufasa – Betrayed Leader – $18
- Alice in Wonderland – Alice – Growing Girl – $10
- Beauty and the Beast – Belle – Hidden Archer $9
- Beauty and the Beast – Beast – Relentless $8.50
These cards have shifted values quite frequently for this Chapter, but most of the cards have stayed in that top 5 spot. There is a lot of love for Disney's Beauty and the Beast here, with 3 out of 5 of the cards consisting of Beast and Belle. Mufasa – Betrayed Leader has had a big jump recently, too, and it is nice to see some of the new films from Chapter 2, like Alice in Wonderland, make the list.
Not only does each of these cards change the tide of battle for Disney Lorcana fans, but the artwork is incredible. One thing that really changes up this card game to the rest is the fact that it is Disney, and that pulls in a whole new audience. The latest trend that has been seen with these cards is getting Disney Parks Character Autographs on them, and that is just awesome. It will be interesting to see the top cards when Into the Inklands drops, with movies and films like Treasure Planet and Duck Tales joining the line-up. All of these values were found via Market Price from TCG Player, which sums up the top and lowest values. Stay up to date with value, just to make sure you can finish your deck or collection for the best price outside of pulling the card yourself, with a Disney Lorcana Booster Pack, which is still on shelves and online now.
