The Only Action Comics #1000 Copies That Haven't Sold Out Are Jim Lee's Cover and the Blank Variant

I just asked a retailer friend to do a quick stock check with Diamond Comic Distributors over the availability of Action Comics #1000 after yesterday's release. I am told that the comic is still available for stores to order from Diamond but only in its standard Jim Lee cover or the Blank cover variant. All the decade-specific covers are sold out, though will most likely be available in stores.

Okay, in most stores…

It took two stores (the first was sold out before opening this morning) but I was able to find a copy of Action Comics 1000. That second story only had the regular Jim Lee cover but I took it all the same and spared myself a trip to the third store here in town.

Soon. But we are told DC Comics won't be reprinting the decade-specific covers. You snoozed, you loozed.
