AfterShock Announces Monstro Mechanica By Paul Allor And Chris Evenhuis
Yesterday, Bleeding Cool answered AfterShock's questions about the new creator-owned series they were planning to announce today. And we were right; however, and you may want to sit down for this because you may find it extremely shocking: we spelled the title wrong.
It's Monstro Mechanica, not Monstro Mechanika, from Paul Allor and Chris Evenhuis. The series will launch in December, and Allor says AfterShock is the perfect home for it:
"AfterShock has very quickly made a name for itself as a place for compelling, character-driven comics that aren't afraid to try new things. As a creator, who wouldn't want to be a part of that? Add in the chance to work with an editor like Mike Marts, who's worked on some of my favorite comics of the last two decades, and it was an absolute no-brainer. We're thrilled to be working with AfterShock!"
Allor also explained why readers will want to add this series to their pull list:
"Monstro Mechanica is a swashbuckling adventure story, filled with humor, pathos and giant wooden robots, that has something to say about humanity and society. It's also incredibly fun, and filled with absolutely gorgeous art. You're going to love it!"
Look for this in stores on December 13th.
