A First Look At Ann Nocenti And David Aja's 'Seeds', Courtesy Of Karen Berger At NYCC

As part of Dark Horse's presentation to the Diamond Retailer Breakfast this morning at New York Comic Con, Karen Berger, showrunner of the New York imprint Berger Books had a lot to show off.

Such as Seeds from Ann Nocenti and David Aja, Aja's first printed work since the end of his and Matt Fraction's Hawkeye. The series deals with journalistic standards and the power of nature.

The story is set in "an imminent America where fact-based reporting is gasping its last breath" and "flora and fauna have begun to mutate." In that world is a journalist who comes across a massive story that she, for undisclosed reasons, can't report on. In lieu of that, she pitches "the biggest myth of her career."

And you get a proper look at it for the first time, these pages just came in…
