Asheville Comics Opens in North Carolina, The Only Comic Store For 10 Miles

Asheville Comics just held their grand opening over Halloween. Located in South Asheville, North Carolina, there's not a comic store in ten miles in either direction, and from the looks of their opening, that was an opportunity waiting to be seized upon.

They are also the closest shop for Hendersonville, NC, a town of 100,000+ about 15 minutes away, and even some towns in South Carolina. Crossing state lines to get your comics? Asheville Comics are counting on it.

They carry comics and trades/books, as well as toys (vintage and new), vinyl records and turntables, retro video games, board games, role-playing games and have a coffee bar with snacks and other beverages.
