Calexit #1 Sells Out 25,000-Print Run On Its First Day, Hits $12 On eBay

We mentioned that Calexit #1, the new Black Mask Comic by Matteo Pizzolo, Amancay Nahuelan, Tyler Boss, Jim Campbell and Dee Cunniffe, sold out last week and went to second printing, after it made the front page of the Drudge Report.

But we now have a few more details. The initial print run was 25,000, Black Mask got their most same-day reorders for any title on its release, and it not only sold out at Diamond Comic Distributors but also at Midtown and TFAW stores within 24 hours of going on sale.

And on Comic Book Roundup, it's currently holding 9.1/9.3 — tied with Young Terrorists for Black Mask's best reviewed new #1.

Standard copies of the comic book's first printing are already selling copies on eBay for $12 up. And this is the San Diego Comic-Con cover, two copies of which have already sold for $120 each:
