Chelsea Cain Responds to Vision Cancellation: "It Kills Me That We Won't Get to Share Them"

Following Bleeding Cool's report earlier today that the Vision sequel by writers Chelsea Cain and Marc Mohan and artist Aud Koch had been canceled, Chelsea Cain has weighed in on the cancellation via Twitter. Cain says the comic was two-thirds of the way done, though Bleeding Cool reported that at least the creative team has been paid for their work.

"I'm incredibly proud of the 4 issues we've turned in so far," Cain tweeted, going on to reveal that it took 2 years to produce them. *checks solicits to make sure Steve McNiven wasn't drawing it* "It's been 2 years of work. And reflects tremendous effort by an incredibly talented team. It kills me that we won't get to share them… Forgive me, Viv."

Bleeding Cool reported Thursday that the reason behind Marvel's last-minute cancellation of the series, which was due out in November, has to do with plans the company has for the characters Vision and Viv Vision, though it's unknown what those are. We're guessing Vision will become a Nazi during next year's super-mega-crossover event, Secret Empire 2: Ask Me About My Fascist Agenda. Maybe we'll find out at New York Comic-Con?
