Collectors Cornered is a weekly video column, filmed inside Collectors Corner in Baltimore. Join us every week as we discuss comic book news from a different point of view and get instant feedback from real customers on New Comic Day, as we literally corner them and and ask questions about comic books and related topics. In this installment, we feature photos & video from our Halloween ComicFest Party & Costume Contest and then Interview Brandon Seifert, Writer & Creator of Witch Doctor, about his work and upcoming projects with questions from members of our in-store GOCC: Girls Only Comics Club!

We have always had a Huge Halloween Event here at CC, but this year marks the first Diamond Comic Distributors Sponsored Halloween ComicFest which we tied into our own event on Halloween night.  Hundreds of Costumed Kids & Adults came into the store for Free Comics, Candy & Fun. Collectors Corner's Third Annual Costume Contest included Classic Cartoon Characters, Elvira, Zombie Psy, Little Leia, Deadpool and many more.

A Big Thanks to everyone that came out and partied with us including the awesome creators that helped make the event a huge success:

  • Brandon Seifert, Comics Writer & Creator of Witch Doctor who flew in from Oregon to Join Us.
  • Fear the Living signing with writer & Baltimore native, Lawrence Ditone
  • Local Comic creator/artist H. C. Noel of Tara Normal drawing Zombie Caricatures & SFX Artist Victor Acord who Zombified customers throughout the night!
