Tomorrow comic stores get Optimus Prime #17 and #18. But they are only supposed to sell #17. This is going to be interesting…

Due to a processing error, 16 comic books published by IDW that were originally slated for release on Wednesday, April 25th have been sent to comic stores this week.

UPDATE – We have been contacted by IDW with the following message: "Retailers have NOT been instructed to hold books for sale a week later. The processing error resulted in books getting sent a week earlier than scheduled but retailers can definitely sell the books as soon as they receive them." – So sell away!!

Well, IDW, that was the advice that Diamond gave retailers earlier in the day. But it has clearly been changed through the day…
