He also talked about the variant cover decision making process;
There are a variety of factors. For All-New Marvel NOW! we tried to maintain a program for variants so that collectors who enjoy getting all the items in a set will have a few treasures to search out. We try to get Skottie Young to do a variant cover for each new #1 title. Animal Variants will be available for most All-New Marvel NOW! titles. We had considered doing one for every #1 and .NOW issue but that would've been too many so we scaled that number back to a more manageable amount.
We're also getting a new All New Marvel NOW preview in January…
