Dani Moonstar's Absence Explained in New Mutants: Dead Souls #6 Preview

The final issue of New Mutants: Dead Souls by Matthew Rosenberg, Adam Gorham, Michael Garland, and Clayton Cowles hits stores next Wedneday, and judging by the issue's preview, we can expect a lot of pieces to fall into place in New Mutants: Dead Souls #6. The main story of the series, which has seen Magik leading a team of New Mutants including Rictor, Boom-Boom, Wolfsbane, and Strong Guy in pursuit of Tran, the evil brother of Karma, whose Haitchi corporation employs the New Mutants and has been up to some potentially shady @#$%.

Missing from the lineup has been Danielle Moonstar. And alongside the main story, we've seen a tragedy play out as a group of bullies forces a young mutant to investigate a mysterious house, only to find Warlock inside. One thing led to another, and both Warlock and the kid ended up dead. It looks like this storyline is tied into Dani's absence, as the following preview reveals.
