DC Comics Cancels Additional Printings for Batman: White Knight and Doom Patrol Omnibus For Now

DC Comics has told retailers that orders for a third printing of Batman: White Knight by Sean Gordon Murphy in trade paperback have been cancelled along with a second printing of Doom Patrol Omnibus by Grant Morrison and Richard Case.

This is all part of DC Comics attempt to make changes in the way they publish collections. It may be noted that earlier printings of both books are still available to retailers to order, and this may be an attempt not to flood the market with too many copies. Maybe wait to actually sell out a printing before making another printing available.

What a concept.

DC promises that these printings will be resolicited at a future date.
