DC Sends Replacement Copies of Dollar Comics: Batman #497 After Page Mix Up
It appears that the dollar comic reprint of Batman #497 that DC Comics recently published had a few pages printed out of order. Well, what do you expect for a dollar? But DC Comics are taking this more seriously and are sending all retailers replacement copies, matching the numbers that retailers ordered, as well as a freight credit for the added costs.
So if you picked one up for a dollar, check your local comic shop on November 6th for your replacement copy.
By the way, folks, this is the kind of thing that usually happens with DC Comics – the pulping, seizing and affidavits issued for the issues with Superman #14 and Supergirl #33 demonstrated that much more was at stake with the original printings than an unrepresentative wrong banner or cover…
