A Very Digital Angoulême From ComiXology And Amazon
ComiXology have returned to Angoulême, the world's biggest comic book festival, for their third year with a sale to spotlight comics, bandes dessinées (BD), graphic novels and manga from all over the world, both in English and French
This international discount will apply through the festival until February 1st. And we'll be following their adventures at the show with the "All Access Angoulême" tag. In a press release, ComiXology CEO David Steinberger states
"This year's Angoulême International Comics Festival will be held in commemoration of Charlie Hebdo's newspaper and its cartoonists. We are honored to highlight France's deep commitment to cartoonists everywhere by putting a spotlight on the Angoulême International Comics Festival as we continue to mourn the tragic loss of life."
Can't see Hebdo on ComXology yet though. Maybe that could change?
They have however added French publisher Les Humanoides to their range, with five hundred titles instantly joining the ComiXology library…
