First Appearances, Lettered Previews, Character Designs and Reveals for House Of X, Powers Of X and Dawn Of X

The free House Of X/Powers Of X/Dawn Of X previews in comic book stores today, Sowing The Seeds, give a lot of insight into what Jonathan Hickman is bringing to the X-Men. And then again, not a single bit of information that is of any use. As he says in the intro,

But the thing this magazine cannot convey – and this is the most important aspect of what we're doing – is that this is a return to the way things are supposed to be. That the X-Men matter again. And for that, I'm afraid you're going to have to wait for the real thing.

Basically, Ike Perlmutter says it's okay.

So as part of what we're calling Monster Wednesday here at Bleeding Cool. we have a new preview of House Of X #1 – to add to our earlier previews. and theories. Krakoa growing portals is the way the mutants have found a new paradise… and Wolverine plays tickle chase.

While in Powers Of X #1 the battle still wages. And the Colossus/Magik character definitely of the Rasputin line – whether Piotr or Illyana is up for grabs.

Which means this preview may well count as the first full appearance of the priestly Nightcrawler/Azazel character, as well as this new Rasputin. Rather than the actual issues, as these redacted character designs suggest.
