It didn't work out for Mike Deodato.

But Batman Earth One and DC Universe Rebirth artist Gary Frank has drawn this cover, currently only visible in black-and-white, for the Sergio Bonelli Editiore legendary Italian western comic book, Tex.

Tex Rebirth anyone?
