You Go, Ghost Girl!
The 'dennmann' Comic Subscription 2015 on Kickstarter by Denny 'dennmann' Riccelli – closing date February 20th, 2015 – Subscriptions start to ship May 2015.
Essentially it's an old school subscription campaign to all the comics I self-publish in 2015, via Kickstarter. The subscription should include, 3 issues of Cousin Harold, 1 issue of Jenny Spookawski, a Free Comic Book Day Edition, a 24 hour Comic Book Day Edition and probably a couple other minis.
Denny Riccelli writes,
My name is Denny Riccelli and I make comics under the pen name 'dennmann'. From writing and drawing them to folding, stapling and trimming, my comics are 100% hand made, but they don't look it. I often get asked where I print my books and when I tell people that they are made on my kitchen table they are shocked. I take a lot of pride in the comics I make. Where most creators think of their comics (art and story) as their artwork, I think of my physical comic books as my art. My webcomic, Cousin Harold has been running for over 3 years and I post updates 5 days a week.
In 2014 I published 8 comics (pictured below). The plan for 2015 starts at 6 comics, but I have 3 other projects in mind, if time allows.
In addition to my own books I have also spear headed and co-published 2 comics that spotlight my fellow Arizona creators and their creations. I'm very involved in the local comic scene in Arizona and support my fellow artist whenever possible.
What I need from you now is support for my Kickstarter, The dennmann Comic Subscription 2015 and if we hit my goal of $600 by Monday morning because of all of you, the Bleeding Cool readers, I will throw in an extra book this year for the Kickstarter backers only – The Jenny Spookawski Complete Webcomic. Jenny Spookawski had a short-lived, webcomic series before I switched to doing Cousin Harold. This series has never been collected and this book will be super limited to Kickstarter backers only. I was going to save this book for a stretch goal, but heck I have a better idea for that.
Thank you for reading and I hope I can count on your support.
