Iceman #1 – The First New X-Men Title Out Of RessurXion

Marvel has, it seems, quite deliberately downplayed the X-Men titles in recent years. Fewer of them, less promoted and moved out of licensing altogether. Marvel executives have told me that it's down to wanting to prioritise the exposure of comic characters that can also be exploited by Marvel Studios, rather those that Fox has a perpetual license for. Others suspect the arguments between Fox and Marvel Studios over said licensed titles. But with Marvel itself now internally divided between Film and everyone else, is the enemy of my enemy now my friend? With Fox's Legion and Deadpool both acknowledged by Marvel Comics is it time for a mutant reversal of fortune at the publisher?

We've been teasing you Marvel's ResurrXion for a couple of months. Now we have the first title spinning out of it.
