Is This Why The Secret Wars Crossovers Were So Late? (SPOILERS)
The Secret Wars crossovers seem to exist in and of themselves. There is a status quo set at the beginning of Secret Wars #1 of a Battleworld split into a variety of dimensional domains rulled over by the God Doom. And each crossover spinoff tells the story of that world, or the world they cross over with. But none affects the Secret Wars central story by Hickman and Ribic, and none seem to be affected by the specific plot in that story as well.
But as the main book slipped its schedule, so all the other crossovers seemed to follow suit. So what was it in Secret Wars #4 that might affect the other books?
Well, spoiler hat on, during Secret Wars #4, Sheriff Strange sends the survivors of the 616 and Ultimate universes across the Battleworld.
Could they be about to appear in a number of the crossover series? And is that why they all had to be delayed as well? Star-Lord in Guardians Of Knowhere etc?
