Jeremy Whitley to Co-Write Fantastic Four #12

Tony Stark: Iron Man and Fantastic Four were the two titles being written by Dan Slott for Marvel Comics that were a little on the late side, and saw issue after issue slip down the weekly schedules.

Tony Stark: Iron Man may have been sorted out, as Jim Zub came aboard to co-write the series, and Gail Simone has taken the writing duties for the series' upcoming The War Of The Realms crossover issues with the intention, I am told, of giving Dan Slott a head start on the upcoming 2020 storyline/event for the series, as it reprises the Iron Man 2020 storyline and characters first seen in the Machine Man 2020 series, published thirty-five years ago.

And now it seems that the Fantastic Four series may be getting a similar helping hand. As issue 12 for July, solicited from Dan Slott and Sean Izaaske will now see Princeless creator and Unstoppable Wasp and My Little Pony writer Jeremy Whitley added as a writer and Will Robson added on art.

Dan Slott and Sean Izaaske are still the creative team in the new Fantastic Four #12 solicitations, We'll see if that stays the same closer to publication…

UPDATE: Looks like it. Word is that it's a back-up story by Whitley and Robson just for this issue…
