Marvel Cancels Star Wars: Poe Dameron in September

Star Wars: Poe Dameron is coming to an end in September, according to Marvel's solicitations. The explicitly specified "series finale" teases what could be the "last mission" for Black Squadron. All stories must come to an end, the solicitation proclaims. At Marvel, that tends to be sooner rather than later, but 31 issues is a pretty good run as far as Marvel comics go these days.

Check out the solicit below:

STAR WARS: POE DAMERON #31
CHARLES SOULE (W) • ANGEL UNZUETA (A)
Cover by PHIL NOTO
SERIES FINALE!
In this final chapter of the POE DAMERON series, we see what may be BLACK SQUADRON'S last mission, as they desperately attempt to find allies for GENERAL LEIA ORGANA'S decimated RESISTANCE.
It's been one heck of a ride, but all stories must come to an end.

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events. Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
