Marvel To Publish 2200+ Page Star Wars Slipcase Collection

Marvel is planning to launch a full scale galactic invasion of your bookshelf space on April 18th with the inventively title Star Wars Box Set Slipcase. Consisting of eleven hardcover comic collections, one hardcover collection covers from Star Wars comics, and a poster, the massive box set is bigger than a Star Destroyer and weighs in at 2208 pages, thought it's unclear if that's including the poster.

"Our Slipcase Sets continue to be massive hits with fans and retailers, selling out almost instantaneously, and we wanted to build something equally impressive to honor the legacy of Star Wars," said Marvel SVP Sales & Marketing David Gabriel in a press release which we swear we aren't taking out of context. "With these premiere hardcovers, not only do you get the entire catalogue of Marvel's Star Wars packed with extras and bonus material, but they are all presented in one of the most stunning packages we've ever produced."

Marvel doesn't list a price for the box set, but that's probably something you'll need to discuss with your mortgage broker anyway, and may vary according to factors such as length of the mortgage, down payment, and interest rates. Here's what's included with your purchase:
