Now Batman Is Going V For Vendetta As Well As Watchmen And Killing Joke (Detective Comics Spoilers)

We noted when the Batman comic, already picking up on Watchmen imagery, had dovetailed into The Killing Joke instead.

Well, today, Detective Comics takes aspects that have been linked to Watchmen, and seems to seek inspiration from V For Vendetta instead.

 

This scene from Detective Comics with the imprisoned Red Robin making his escape from Mr Oz, someone presumed to be Watchmen's Dr Ozymandias, did seem rather familiar…
