Planet Sized Spoilers From Today's X-O Manowar #33…
So, you may have heard us talking about the Dead Hand storyline, beginning in March's X-O Manowar #34.
For months, Valiant has been running one-page teasers in the back of each X-O Manowar issue until now, giving us glimpses of an massive robot army as it makes its way — presumably — towards Earth.
We knew the robot army was named Dead Hand (after the infamous Soviet nuclear fail-safe) and that it was somehow tied to last summer's Armor Hunters crossover…
What we didn't know was that it was the size of frickin' planet. Hey, that's no moon…
Moreover, in the final pages of today's X-O Manowar #33, we find out that not only is not the DEAD HAND ship not a ship per se, but that it was never headed for Earth at all…
That's the alien world of Loam — the birthplace of the X-O Manowar armor, the most powerful weapon in Valiant's whole mythology. And it looks like it's ground zero for Dead Hand.
Is X-O Manowar going home? Looks like Valiant's flagship title is about to get very cosmic indeed. Valiant tells us that what happens here will have a huge impact on summer 2015 and beyond…
So could we seeing the seeds of Valiant's next summer event? After al, by our calculations Dead Hand will end in June…
