Art Baltazar And Chloe Nyberg Introduces New Super Pets, Lunar Moon And Sprightly Steve
Meet the new DC Super Pets, Lunar Moon and Sprightly Steve.
Or Luna and Steve as they are known to nine-year-old owner Chloe Nyberg, who entered a competition, writing a Daily Planet superhero news story about her dogs. Luna with the power of super-smelling and Steve with his bouncing abilities, saving 26 children from certain doom in a brush fire in Metropolis. Here's a snippet.
"After smelling the danger, a beagle named Luna transformed into Luna Moon, the incredible hound with the super-sniffing nose. Luna knew she needed to get there fast, so she called on her friend Steve the pom-chi, who then became Sprightly Steve, the super pooch with lightning speed.
"Luna Moon jumped on Sprightly Steve's back and off they went as quick as a flash. Luna Moon was able to sniff out the exact location of the trapped children and they were rescued in seconds with no injuries."
This will now be adapted into a children's book for January 2012 publication, drawn by Art Baltazar alongside Krypto, Ace the Bat-Hound and the rest of the gang.
