Be Careful At San Diego, Marc Summers Might Hit You With A Pie!

This morning started out like any other SDCC morning.  I had a quick breakfast, a long shower, and left the hotel open to the adventures the con would bring.  As I was walking down the street, I saw Marc Summers, the host of Double Dare and a pop culture icon for millennials everywhere.  As I drew closer, I thought I might snap a selfie.  As I got closer, an official looking lady with a clipboard approaches me.  "Oh no!"  I thought.  "Clearly she's going to ask me to move."  Instead, she offered me the experience of a lifetime "How would you like to get pied by Marc Summers?"  My 8 year old self jumped at the idea, and my 32 year old self jumped right in after.

I got hit by not one, not two, but six pies!  I was a cream covered mess.  Luckily the fine folks at Nickelodeon had a change of clothes on hand.  Sure, I didn't have to wear the glasses, but how could I not?
