Why Is Doom Patrol Vol. 2 Like Spinal Tap?

Bleeding Cool already told you that DC Comics has cancelled retailer orders for Doom Patrol #12 by Gerard Way and Nick Derington, with the promise that it will be relisted at some time in the future. We thought it might be April. But DC Comics solicitations for April had no Doom Patrol #12. In fact, they did something else.

Amazon solicitations for Doom Patrol Vol. 2 that ran earlier are as follows.

Like the Spinal Tap volume level, it only goes up to eleven. Remember, Doom Patrol #12 was originally solicited thus:

Something normal is happening to the Doom Patrol. Which means not weird, since their own normal is very weird. There are mysterious forces at work, unseen hands rewriting history, and the change is so gradual, the team doesn't even necessarily see how much they are changing. The end of our second big DOOM PATROL arc leads into big things to come next month!

Is it no longer the end of the second big Doom Patrol arc if it is no longer in Volume 2? Has the story been truncated to end with #11? What's going on?
