Four Daleks And A Davros – Is Richard Curtis Writing Daleks?

We knew that Richard Curtis was writing a Doctor Who episode for next year. Something with Vincent Van Gogh in it.

We also knew that the Daleks would be coming back next year.

But we didn't know they'd be at Curtis' hands. Hell we still don't officially. But presenter/producer/script editor Emma Freud, Richard's partner, just tweeted;

2 days on set in cardiff for the doctor who episode. heaven. spike aged 5 got inside a dalek…. turns out it's his happy place.

drredCan we expect the likes of "Fuck-a-doodle-dalek", "Exterminate Exterminate Exterminate EXTERMINATE!", "Baldrick, you wouldn't know a Dalek if it hovered above a piano, painted itself purple and started croaking "Daleks are here again!"… and so on, and so on.

Go on, suggest a few…

I wonder if a Dalek will exterminate Van Gogh's ear. Or a vase of Sunflowers. Or…

Or (sigh) maybe they just had a spare Dalek on set.
