Watch: Disney's Hall of Presidents Opens Back up with Trump Animatronic
After nearly a year, Disney's Hall of Presidents reopens today with the new President Donald Trump animatronic. The experience — located in Liberty Square inside Magic Kingdom — does indeed close every time a new President is elected, but it had never remained closed as long as it did this time. I'm sure everyone has their theories as to why, but nevertheless, the ride is back open. According to the Disney Parks Blog:
"As has been the tradition with every new president since the attraction debuted, an Audio-Animatronics figure of President Donald J. Trump has been added to the show and features the latest advances in technology that enable smoother and more lifelike movements. President Trump personally recorded remarks exclusively for The Hall of Presidents, just as each sitting president has done for the attraction since the early 1990s."
