Hickman Working On PLUS! For Image In Three Different StylesWith Jonathan Hickman been seen as a real rising star at Marvel Comics, on books such as Secret Warriors, Iron Man, Fantastic Four and Shield, he's not abandoning the kinds of smaller, stranger projects that first brought him to public attention, such as Nightly News, Transhuman or Pax Romana.

As well as A Red Mass For Mars with Ryan Bodenheim coming out in June, Hickman also has another creator owned project from Image called Plus! on the books for August. With three stories an issue, written and drawn by Hickman each in a distinctly different art style.

It was Hickman's unique use of text and visuals in Nightly News that made me such a fan of the book. And while we've seen aspects of that approach in his other titles, if Jonathan isn't writing and drawing, some of that unique viewpoint is diluted.

I look forward to Plus! bringing it back to full Hickman strength.
