Marvel Adapts James Patterson's Maximum Ride Novels As Max Ride

Announced at NYCC at Marvel's Cup O Joe panel, Marguerite Bennett is to adapt the world of James Patterson's novels about teenagers with a little extra avian DNA who escape from scientific experimentation as The Flock, as Max Ride, with Alex Sanchez on art, starting with First Flight.

Yen Press has already published a manga adaptation. Maybe they've done a swap for Big Hero Six.
