While Deathstroke vs. Batman appears to want to revive the slightly-later superhero team, The Justice Experience from the 1960s/1970s formed by the Human Tornado.
Scott Snyder may not have been able to use the JSA in Metal. Well, Priest has just decided to bring back a different legacy team… and reverse some of the retcons from the New 52 Justice League in the process.
In previous DC canon, The Justice Experience debuted in the late 1960s and early 1970s as the Justice Society of America transitioned into retirement. including the Acro-Bat, father of Cameron Chase and the Bronze Wraith — who was an earlier guise of the J'onn J'onzz, the Martian Manhunter. Who has just been seen killing Starman in the future…
Their only appearance was in Chase #6 by D. Curtis Johnson and J.H. Williams III in 1998. I'm surprised Geoff Johns didn't use them in Doomsday Clock, this is just his kind of thing.
Oh, and Batman and Deathstroke exchanging verbal blows that sting far more than the physical ones.
Everyone is reading Deathstroke at the moment, right? Right? It may be about to undermine something very interesting regarding the Batwedding too…
