The Best Selling USAvengers #1 State Variant Won't Be Counted By Diamond's Statistics For The Month

u-s-avengers001_state_variants_flagMarvel Comics has released all the different State variant covers for U.S.Avengers #1. And have noted that the UK version (not a state of the USA) is the highest ordered so far.

u-s-avengers001_state_variant_tracking_11_18What Marvel aren't saying is that the UK version is exclusive to one chain, Forbidden Planet. And that all copies ordered by Forbidden Planet won't be counted in the Diamond Comic Distributors chart.

Because, as Bleeding Cool have pointed out, non-North American orders don't get counted by Diamond when compiling their monthly charts for reasons lost in the mists of time.

Maybe that might give David Gabriel, SVP at Marvel reason to ask Diamond to change things?
