The Bleed Episode 11: Reading Punk Rock Jesus With Sina Grace And Alex Wilson

By Joseph Kyle Schmidt

The Bleed is a weekly book club by Bleeding Cool contributors Joseph Schmidt and Sam Morse. The group meets every Wednesday on Google Hangout to discuss news, the latest comics, creator interviews and the pick of the week.

Sam rejoins us this week as the group reads the contemporary classic from Sean Gordon Murphy, Punk Rock Jesus published by Vertigo.

This week's book was selected by Bleeding Cool's own Alex Wilson. Also joining the group is kick-ass artist Sina Grace, former editor of The Walking Dead and Invincible who is now the artist for titles such as Li'l Depressed Boy, Self-Obsessed, Burn the Orphanage, and the recently launched Penny Dora and the Wishing Box, all from Image Comics.

You can download us if you're on the go here or take a listen below. We're looking to get listed on the iTunes directory and making it as easy as possible for you to stay updated with all of our latest ramblings. Look forward to that soon!

Next week we welcome colorist extraordinaire Nathan Fairbairn to the show, who has contributed to masterworks such as Batman Incorporated, MultiversitySeconds, and the colored reprints of Scott Pilgrim. Nathan has chosen the latest volume of anthropomorphic detective intrigue from Juan Díaz Canales and Juanjo Guarnido, Blacksad: Amarillo.  Click here to view the Google Hangout.
