Roy Thomas on a Year Without Stan

John Cimino, Roy Thomas' manager writes to Bleeding Cool,

Roy Thomas and I were talking recently and thought it was an incredible coincidence that this issue of Alter Ego #161 dedicated to the life and death of Stan Lee hits shelves on 11/6/19, almost exactly a year to the day we visited Stan together on 11/10/18. As you know "The Man" passed away less than 48 hours later.

You can say it's pretty ironic or even storybook, but either way, this issue should not be missed. And it's an extreme honor that Roy wanted me to write the editorial introduction to such an important issue considering all the legends of the industry he got to participate in this. I guess, somewhere out there, Stan Lee and Jerry Bails are both smiling
