Marvel Releases Teaser Trailer For Phoenix Resurrection

Long before Marvel tried to make comics more like movies by adding post-credits scenes, comic book publishers have been trying to make comics more like movies by releasing trailers for them. The important thing is that they're more like movies. Could you imagine if comics were just comics? How embarrassing!

In a press release, Marvel touts the upcoming X-Men event Phoenix Resurrection, which will see Jean Grey return (again) after dying (again) in an epic mini-series written by Matthew RosenbergLeinil Yu, Carlos Pacheco, Joe Bennett, and Ramon Rosanas provide the art.

"Our series examines how she comes back, why she comes back, and what that means on a bigger sense for the X-Men and the world as a whole," said Rosenberg. The answer to all three questions is: $$$$.

The first issue hits stores on December 27th, which will basically be like a second Christmas.

About Jude Terror

A prophecy once said that in the comic book industry's darkest days, a hero would come to lead the people through a plague of overpriced floppies, incentive variant covers, #1 issue reboots, and super-mega-crossover events.

Sadly, that prophecy was wrong. Oh, Jude Terror was right. For ten years. About everything. But nobody listened. And so, Jude Terror has moved on to a more important mission: turning Bleeding Cool into a pro wrestling dirt sheet!
