The Daily Planet Now Barred from White House Press Briefings in Lois Lane #2
In the first issue of Lois Lane #1 by Greg Rucka and Mike Perkins, we saw Lois Lane go up against Donald Trump's White House over not only having immigrant children separated from their parents and kept in cages, but also members of the administration being bribed by those making such centres. And then being barred from the White House Press corps. And nothing that this plot was developed before CNN found itself in similarly hot water.
In Lois Lane #2 it's still an issue, for the Daily Planet as a whole.
Mariska Voronova was assassinated in the previous issue by, presumably vested interests. But this does shine a new light on a scene previously seen in Action Comics – and in the process makes sense if it than Brian Bendis did.
Because while Lois Lane gets slut-shamed and Clark Kent gets 'Cuck-Kented', it also now achieves something very public, very obvious and very sensible.
Who would kill Lois Lane knowing who her new boyfriend is?
