Today Would Have Been Jack Kirby's 98th Birthday. Here He Is On His 70th, With Stan Lee

On 28 August 1987, on Jack Kirby's 70th birthday, Jack was a guest on Robert Knight's Earthwatch radio show on WBAI in New York City. Knight's special co-host that night was Warren Reece. Max Schmid was also on hand.

And Stan Lee calls in, 19 minutes in.

"We had conflict when we were starting our early strips…"

That is one way of putting it!
