Two Completed, Unpublished, Quantum And Woody Comics To Be Published On ComiXology
The other evening I popped into the Valiant offices, officially the closest comic book publisher to the New York Comic Con.
What I found was a proper, working Bullpen of comic industry staffers preparing comics for publication, arranging their NYCC schedule and and the midst of it, arranging me.
I grabbed a few comics, flicked through Shadowman #1 (Mr Twist is the standout character of, etc etc etc) and then learned something tht shocked me to my core.
There are two finished, unpublished, episodes of Quantum & Woody, the buddy superhero comic by Christopher Priest and DW Bright that was published to great acclaim. They are sitting in a bottom drawer of Valiant. And I got to see a very spoilery double splash page.
And from next month, when Valiant republishes Quantum And Woody through ComiXology, we will get those two unpublished issues as well.
That's of course, as long as no one firebombs the office. They are situated in the same offices as Planet Parenthood after all…
