Stranger Comics and Unified Pictures have been thrilled with the response from fans to the first issue of "Vampire Hunter D: Message from Mars." We can't thank the fans and retailers enough for the love that you have shown us, and many of you have reached out to express how excited you are for issue 2, for which you are patiently awaiting.

Unfortunately, we have to rely on your continued patience. We had planned this book as a bi-monthly release, however, there has been a serious family medical issue for our art team that has delayed production on issue 2. While we are just as dismayed as you by this development, we are extremely happy with the quality of the artwork that has been produced, and we wish to be supportive and understanding in this difficult time.

We sincerely thank you for your patience, understanding, and support for our team and look forward to continuing the story of D's adventure on Mars in the near future.
