When Your Mark Brooks X-Men Connecting Covers Don't Quite… Connect

Fall Of The House Of X #1 and The Rise Of The Powers Of X #1 were solicited with variant "connecting covers" drawn by Mark Brooks.

The launch issues of Fall Of The House Of X #1 and The Rise Of The Powers Of X #1 were solicited with variant "connecting covers" drawn by Mark Brooks that would make one image when  placed together. However, in the production of the comic book, that didn't quite happen and not everything…. lined up.

Poor Professor Xavier, who was meant to be in the middle of the piece, he kind of got lost. Now, Marvel Comics has informed retailers that they will receive reprint copies of the Mark Brooks covers for each, via Penguin Random House to fix the error. They say, "the following Connecting Variant Covers did not fully match up or connect correctly and are being reprinted and made available as replacement copies to Retailers.  The corrected cover printings should arrive to PRH by the week of 1/25/24.  Please get with your PRH Representative as soon as possible to arrange for replacements."

Also, Star Wars #42  and the Star Wars #42 logo variant cover "had some isolated printer flaws so a limited reprint has been done on both and the additional inventory is estimated to arrive to PRH by the end of next week and will be available to fill replacement back orders."
