Ant-Man Shares More Ties To Iron Man And The Avengers

Here is another tie between Ant-Man and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the form of a viral video. Marvel has released this faux news promo with Christine Everhart talking about the fall out form the Avengers battle with Ultron in Sokovia. She also plugs a follow-up piece on a thief named Scott Lang who is set to be released on July 17th.

Fans of the MCU should recognize Everhart, played by actress Leslie Bibb. She is the same reporter who tried to interview and then slept with Tony Stark in Iron Man. She also was the one doing the piece on Justin Hammer in Iron Man 2.

Also below, the latest international trailer for the film breaks down the plot a bit more and specifically mentions Iron Man and the Avengers.

These marketing campaign seems to be working as the Hollywood Reporter has the film tracking for an estimated opening weekend of $55 to $65 Million. And experts seem to think it will be at the top end of that range.
