Paul Feig Says He'd Like To Do A Ghostbusters 2

Comedy sequels are pretty standard fare when it comes to the genre. That's why it seems anytime we get a mild hit on our hands, we can expect a continuation to come before too long.

That is why I don't think it is unreasonable to think that Ghostbusters might get one some time in the fututre, especially now the reboot seal has been broken on the property. Of course, it also somewhat underwhelmed at the box office too, which doesn't help its case. Speaking to The Daily Beast, Paul Feig said that Sony haven't called as of yet for another, but he would be up for another in the franchise. He said:

That's up to the studio because they have to pay for it. Nobody's called me. But I love those characters and I know they are now heroes and mean a lot to a lot of people, so in a perfect world it would be great if we could see them bust more ghosts, kick more ass, and be awesome again.

And yeah, why not? I think there is plenty of room to expand and improve on. The first had a charm and I'd be up for seeing the team have another bite of that apple.
