Persona 5 Gets A New Trailer Featuring Kicking Soundtrack And Glimpses Of Gameplay
So, straight up, Shin Megami Tensei: Persona isn't a series that has ever truly penetrated my gaming habits. That isn't that surprising as I'm generally not a huge fan of JRPGs as a whole, so I've never really meshed with the series when I've played it.
Having said that, I recognize the quality of the series and I know there is a sizable die-hard community around the game. It's huge in Japan, but it also has a solid fanbase in the west too. It would be silly of me to ignore that.
Persona 5 is set to release sometime this year in Japan (no date for Western release, but it is confirmed) on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. To start getting people ready for the title, developer Atlus has released this gameplay trailer for the title. It shows quite a bit of anime, but you'll catch glimpses of the title in motion too. It sure does look to have a very pretty art direction.
And that soundtrack! I dig that.
