3 Short Promos For The Punisher Season 1
The Punisher comes out next week, which means it's time for a bunch of small promos teasing the show. The first one is on Instagram and looks similar to the footage we saw during San Diego Comic-Con:
Next we have another short promo of Frank Castle doing what he does best: kicking the absolute crap out of someone while also getting the crap kicked out of him. His voice does seem to be channeling some Christian Bale Batman stuff, though, which could make a lot of these types of scenes unintentionally hilarious.
Finally, we see Frank with his giant hobo heard breaking some concrete. This show is going to be similar to Jessica Jones in that it's going to tackle the idea of flashbacks and some forms of PTSD that a character like Frank Castle would have.
Summary: After the murder of his family, Frank Castle becomes a vigilante known as "the Punisher", who aims to fight crime by any means necessary.
The Punisher, from showrunner Steve Lightfoot, stars Jon Bernthal, Jason R. Moore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Michael Nathanson, Jamie Ray Newman, and Amber Rose Revah. It will stream to Netflix on November 17th.
