Back in 2017, it was one of my punniest titles ever for Bleeding Cool, "Dr Strange Lush – How Alan Moore Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bath Bomb". The discovery that Alan Moore was quite the fan of the British high-street cosmetic retailer, Lush. However, if he pops to the Northampton branch – or indeed any branch this week – he might get a bit of a shock. Because it has all gone rather Super Mario Galaxy... as I discovered when cycling along Oxford Street last night.

"Hatch a plan for the perfect bath with the Yoshi Egg bath bomb, or lather yourself in Protect The Galaxy shower gel — brimming with bright blueberry aromas and gentle rose oil. Rattle it all you like, but only water will reveal one of four hidden shower gummies — which one will you get? Or if floating through a jiggly galaxy of juicy peach and playful grapefruit is more your style, try the utterly-adorable Lumas shower jelly. Don't let this limited-edition collection go down the drain, stock up on your favourites or collect them all in the new Question Block sundry box." These are the items available to you, me, Alan Moore, anyone. But not for long.
