In Shocking Turn of Events, Rey Mysterio Could Miss WrestleMania for Injury

In a shocking turn of events nearly as shocking a turn of events as last year, when Rey Mysterio shockingly suffered an injury right before he was rumored to return to WWE for WrestleMania, Rey Mysterio has suffered an injury and may miss his scheduled match with Samoa Joe at the event Sunday.

The injury happened on Monday Night Raw, when Mysterio was battling Baron Corbin to defend Kurt Angle's honor and Mysterio landed badly on his ankle while flipping over Corbin's head. WWE pulled Mysterio from a match with Andrade on Smackdown Live last night, and Mysterio took to Instagram today to post about the injury.

At press time, Bleeding Cool was unable to confirm that Mysterio's various surgically-reconstructed body parts are at this point built entirely from the remnants of Kevin Nash's quad muscles and discarded hip bones from Hulk Hogan's surgeries. We'll keep you updated on this developing story.
