Jesse Watters' Bad Day Continues: Rep. Dan Crenshaw Makes It Personal
Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) didn't appreciate Jesse Watters' FOX "News" report on Tuesday night - going scorched earth on Watters in response.
Wow. That must've been one helluva' Tuesday night episode of FOX "News'" Jesse Watters Primetime. We were so caught up on watching Jesse Watters and a psychic attempting to backtrack on a very grim 2024 tarot card prediction for ex-reality show host & multi-impeached ex-POTUS Donald Trump that we missed Watters not exactly making friends with Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX). During another segment of his show, Watters ran a piece claiming that a number of Republicans & Democrats could be engaging in insider trading – and it seems that Crenshaw would prefer that Watters keeps his name out of his mouth.
In a series of Instagram Stories posts, Crenshaw name-called Watters everything from a "fucking clown" and "fucking hack" to being a "dirtbag millionaire." Though Crenshaw did take a half-post to address the insider trading matter and what he has (and hasn't) done, he also dialed up the personal attacks – including that Watters "cheated on his wife and then left her with twins while he went off with another Fox producer" as well as questioning… how Watters pees? Yup… here's a look:
"Hey, you fucking hack, if you're gonna accuse me of literal corruption, get your facts straight and man up and come accuse me to my face. You're a fucking clown desperate for clickbait," Crenshaw writes in what will be an Instagram Stories performance told in six acts (posts). "Watters is a tool, making millions to push conspiracies on TV and bash veterans like me who are barely a fraction of his net worth. Wake up America. The political entertainment industry is almost always lying to you."
From there, Crenshaw shares a look at the list that Watters was referencing during his report on Tuesday night – claiming that Watters targeted him because viewers would "recognize me and react." And that's when things got really personal…
"I'm sitting here trying to feed my 3-month-old, and this dirtbag millionaire at Fox is accusing me of being a criminal with zero evidence," Crenshaw continued. "Stop watching these mediocre entertainers. Stop letting wealthy elitists like Jessye Watters [sic] claim to be 'fighting for you.' They live in Manhattan and can't stand normal people who live in red states. They think you're stupid and feed you bullshit to rile you up." And then things got really, really personal…
"Losers like Watters grew up with a silver spoon. His family is made up of well-connected journalists and politicians. And for some reason, people are fooled into believing he's some genuine blue-collar conservative. Yeah, he's such a 'conservative' he cheated on his wife and then left her with twins while he went off with another Fox producer," Crenshaw continued, dragging Watters' personal life into his scorched earth campaign. And then, things go disgustingly personal – like, "more than I would ever want to know about Watters"-levels of disgustingly personal: "And let's be honest, Jesse Watters seems like the type of dude who pees sitting down."
Well, to absolutely no one's surprise, Crenshaw returned earlier today to let everyone know that "Fox just canceled an interview we had pre-scheduled tonight. Guess I hurt their feelings by calling out their bullshit," Crewnshaw shared in his update. "Oh well."
And here's a look at the segment from Tuesday night to offer some background on the match that lit Crenshaw's fuse:
